GIROUD, VINCENT (A TERCENTENNIAL EXHIBITION PREPARED BY)
Theatre & Anti-Theatre in the 18th Century
New Haven, Connecticut, Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library, Yale University. 2001, First Edition. Pictorial Wrapper (softcover), Large 4to. Exhibition Catalogue, 36 pages; numerous illustrations, mostly portraiture. The exhibition considered the anti-theatre posture of Yale and other venues in the 18th century from the prospect of a now thriving and highly successful drama school and repertory theatre. The illustrated jacket has a very small repaired tear at the top edge of the front panel and a larger repaired tear on the back panel. Very Good/Good.
